英文摘要 Despite past focus in the literature on problems of stress and burnout for public service librarians, these also affect technical services staff and particularly technical services administrators. Stressors (those factors which cause stress) for technical services staff arise from factors intrinsic to the job, the individual's role and relationships at work, and the organizational structure and climate. Coping with stress, beyond the usually prescribed methods, can be facilitated through self knowledge and through knowledge of the working environment both in terms of stressors and supports.
